To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

Join Date: May 2005 Location: Florida Profession: W/	A new use for the wisdom/treasure hunter title How about modifying either the wisdom or treasure hunter titles such that the better the title is, the better idea you have on wether you are going to get a gold or grape drop or not? Particularly on the free treasures in NF where you are better off waiting if you rank purple, but also in GWEN where the number of grapes seems to be higher and picks don't really drop. I was thinking of basing how much info you know on your rank in one of the two titles. For example for the earlier ranks in the title you'd get a generic description. Advance it a little and you'll get the raw percentages of your chances. Example Rank1: Either a good/bad chance description Rank2: good/fair/bad Rank3: you get percentages that are rounded to the nearest 10% Rank4: you get percentages rounded to the nearest 5% Rank5: you get the raw percentage chance
